HTC ThunderBolt and Motorola Xoom Prices Leak, Expected to Cost $250 and $799

One of the big questions still unanswered regarding two of Verizon’s upcoming hottest devices — the HTC ThunderBolt and the Motorola Xoom are one step closer to being fully confirmed. According to a table featuring the MAP (minimum advertised pricing), the HTC ThunderBolt — launching as Verizon’s first 4G smartphone — could retail for $250, presumably on two year contract. In addition, the Motorola Xoom could retail for $799, which we’re hoping is the unsubsidized price point for the Google Experience tablet. It is important to remember Verizon Wireless never offered a subsidized price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, so we can’t assume a lower price for the Xoom will be offered if you ink a two year contract.

Of course, these prices are not set in stone but seem to match the price point many are expecting. Hopefully, however, Verizon Wireless tosses in a subsidized contract price for the Xoom.

About the Author

Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period. In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
