HTC Ville Rumored For T-Mobile, Boasts Android 4.0 and 1.5GHz dual-core processor

HTC didn’t really have a strong Android presence at this year’s CES, but perhaps they are saving their high-end hardware for Mobile World Congress 2012 or their own dedicated events.  Either way, we’re getting an early look at HTC’s upcoming flagship smartphone — one that is expected to drop on T-Mobile.  With AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint doing big things with their respective networks and securing handsets, we’re expecting T-Mobile to have a few future announcements up its sleeves to stay ahead of the competition.  This new HTC handset — the HTC Ville — will certainly help T-Mobile gain subscribers.

According to preliminary details coming from PocketNow, the HTC Ville rocks a 4.3 inch qHD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0, and a strong 8MP camera.  We expect the Ville to launch later this Spring with an official announcement hopefully coming during MWC in February.  The HTC Ville will join the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G atop T-Mobile’s high-end Android smartphone list.

About the Author

Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period. In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
