Huawei Ascend Mate, Big size small price
A Chinese site Liaow has posted the pre order listing for the Huawei Ascend Mate and it is speculating a price tag of $575. This means that the smartphone will be significantly cheaper than the phablet giant, Galaxy Note 2. The Galaxy Note 2 is currently on sale for $700. But as we all know that this is the in house price, there will be taxes and other gimmicky costs added when the Huawei Ascend Mate makes it towards other markets.
None the less the Huawei Ascend Mate is an attractive package, especially if you are into large smartphones. The phablet was launched at CES 2013 held in Las Vegas, and gained popularity due to its outrageous size. The smartphone will have a 6.1 in IPS+ High Definition screen and will run on a 1.5 GHz quad core processor. The Huawei Ascend Mate will be fitted with 32 GB on board storage, an 8 megapixel camera and will come with Android Jelly Bean. The major plus point, at least in my eyes is the inclusion of a 4,050 mAh battery. The Huawei Ascend Mate is a valid choice is you are not willing to spend a small fortune on the Galaxy Note 2 and want a huge battery. The size of course will be an issue for many people; I for one won’t be able to fit it in my jeans. We will update you when more information of official nature comes forward.
