Hulu Plus Arrives To The Android Platform, Compatible On Only Six Devices
Only six Android devices will be able to use the Hulu Plus video streaming service now that the app has officially launched in the Android Market. If you are a current Hulu Plus subscriber who doesn’t own one of the six compatible Android smartphones, then you are, unfortunately, out of luck at the moment. Hulu plans to make their service compatible with more and more Android devices as the year goes on, but as of now, only a very small percent of Android devices in the United States support Hulu Plus.
Let’s take a look at the six different devices that can run the Hulu Plus app. In no particular order the Google Nexus S, Google Nexus One, Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Droid X, HTC Inspire 4G, and the Motorola Atrix all support the app. Albeit, these are the more popular Android phones on the market, so a good portion of Android users should have access to the app. However, it is interesting to notice the absence of any Samsung Galaxy S smartphone on the list as well as tablets. Hopefully Hulu will add tablets to the list of compatible Android devices in the near future.
