Leak: Android 2.2 for HTC Droid Incredible

Can’t wait any longer until HTC rolls out the official Android 2.2 OTA update? Well I have some good news, a member of XDA-Developers forum managed to locate the stock Android 2.2 with Sense update for the HTC Droid Incredible. It looks like this is the real deal as it works on all rooted devices, and every single Froyo feature is confirmed to work. Of course, I recommend you proceed with caution if you are going to upgrade your Droid Incredible to Froyo. Here is a mirror site where you can download the Android 2.2 zip file.

In case you aren’t comfortable with installing Android 2.2, you can always wait until the HTC Droid Incredible officially receives the Android 2.2 update which is rumored to be August 6.
