LG Optimus G Pro globally announced
The LG Optimus G Pro is looking like a beast of a smartphone, the screen measures at 5.5 inches and comes with full HD 1080 x 1920 resolution. That’s not all the large screen has impossibly thin bezels making it look all the more huge, and has a pixel density of 400ppi. This will be something to look forward to as the screen is already mouthwatering. The LG Optimus G Pro will be running a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor, which will be significantly faster than the old Snapdragon S4 Pro ones. 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage will be enough for many, but there is blissfully an microSD card slot for further expansions. The inclusion of a SD card slot is really important in any device, more so if the said device has a Full HD resolution.
The LG Optimus G Pro will pack a hefty 3,140 mAh battery which will be more than enough for a day’s worth of dilly dallying. The smartphone will feature a 13 MP rear facing as well as a 2 MP front facing snapper. It will be running Android version 4.1.2 along with usual LG UX customizations. The press release states that the LG Optimus G Pro will be available next week in Korea and will come costing 968,000 won which is around $900. LG states that LG Optimus G Pro will begin rolling out in overseas territories which includes U.S. during the second quarter. We are hoping to catch it at MWC though.
