Microsoft releases Kinectimals on Google, its first game for Android
Microsoft is slowly getting into the Android app market by making some of its Windows phone apps available for Android. One of these apps happens to be the kids game
called Kinectimals. This game has been available for Windows Phone 7 and iOS devices for quite some time now and has already collected significant number of downloads. Microsoft is probably hoping that more downloads will follow soon after the game is released on Google Play.
Kinectimals for those unfamiliar with it, is a virtual pet game well suited for kids as it takes them to the island of Lemuria where they can play with, care for and fall in love with their very own cub. The game is enriched with nice visuals and fluid animation that will surely entertain kids and the kids in you.
Kinectimals works on both Android in standalone mode as well as Xbox 360 companion mode where an added bonus lets you unlock 5 new cubs to take care of. If your kids have been bugging you to download more games for them to be played on your newly acquired Samsung Galaxy S3, you have a choice – give in to their demands and download Kinectimals or tell them to play on the iPad instead.
Kinectimals is available now from Google Play for $2.99.
