Motorola Droid 2 Now Available for $149
Even though most of us like price drops, they can sometimes signal the end of a product, which is always sad in a way. When the Motorola Droid first received a price cut, we knew the Motorola Droid X was right around the corner and Verizon wanted to move as many units of the original Droid as fast as possible. Now it looks like Verizon will be launching the Motorola Droid 2 Global edition very soon because the Droid 2 is now available for $149 on a two year contract.
If you’re in the market for a new Verizon smartphone, the price drop on the Droid 2 is enticing, but remember the expected Droid 2 Global features a 1.2GHz processor and can work overseas. We will probably see the Droid 2 Global launch sometime soon — probably before the busy holiday rush.
