Pandigital Intros the 9-Inch Android Multimedia Tablet and eReader

Pandigital and AT&T has teamed to bring a new 9-inch 9-inch Android device which is being billed as a multimedia tablet and color eReader. Although Pandigital has released several tablets and eReaders already, this is its first eReader device offering with integrated wireless connectivity, courtesy of AT&T. With this feature, the Tablet eReader can directly access Barnes & Noble’s eBookstore.

Featuring a 9-inch full-color LCD touch screen display, this Android tablet and eReader comes in a sleek black housing and has a matte touch screen display in 480 x 800 resolution. It also features a 2GB of on-board memory and has SD/SDHC and MMC card reader as well as a mini-USB port.

For its eReader functionality, the Pandigital Multimedia Novel eReader features highlighting, font size adjustment, and bookmarks. You can also create personalized bookshelves for managing your ebook library as well as use a built-in dictionary.

The Pandigital Multimedia Tablet and eReader runs on Android OS and is packed with ARM 11 processor. It will be available later this month and will set you back for $279.99.
