Aliens are all the rage, especially this year with the end of the world and all. Probe the Humans by Gameresort will let you see what it’s like to be give instead of receive, as you’ll get to be the aliens who go around kidnapping folks and causing havoc.
Probe the Humans lets you take the helm of a spaceship with only one goal… to kidnap as many humans and animals as possible. Your UFO is basically on auto pilot as you control the tractor beam with your finger and your spaceship follows right behind. If you want to snag a farmer, cow or pig you simply need to hit them with your tractor beam which sounds pretty easy, but as you might have guessed it won’t be quite that simple. You’re given a set amount of lives and anytime you hit an obstacle with your tractor beam you lose a life; when all your lives are gone your game is over and it’s back to the beginning. Probe the Humans has a store that lets you buy upgrades with the coins earned during gameplay, and you can buy some pretty cool swag like new spaceships, power-ups, and you can even unlock humans and animals early instead of playing until you get them. There are also plenty of achievements to shoot for with around 45 in all.
Verdict
Probe the Humans is a great little quick-play game with a sense of humor and fun style. The unlockables add a little depth to the game, and overall it’s just a lot of fun to zip around snatching folks up.
