Race through the Quirky worlds of Nom Nom in Appleland for Android
The title of a game can tell you a lot; sometimes its dead on while other times its way off the mark. When I noticed a new little Android game called Nom Nom in Appleland, I immediately thought “kids game”, but was totally off as Nom Nom is an interesting little game that anyone can enjoy.
Nom Nom is Appleland is a runner game that has you dashing, jumping, and sliding through it’s colorful landscape. We’re not sure if Nom Nom is hungry or just likes to run… maybe both but he’s definitely in a hurry as he’ll even let you fire him from a cannon just to speed things along. Appleland is made up of 30 levels set across 3 different worlds including a land of rolling hills, a forest full of trees, and you’ll even take things to the extreme as you race across the mountain tops. Nom Nom in Appleland also has plenty of challenges as there are 90 challenge stars to collect if you can manage to snag all the apples in every level.
Verdict
As mentioned, Nom Nom in Appleland is not just for the kiddies, and while I only gave it a very brief run through it was quite a bit of fun. The gameplay is solid, but the graphics are the standout for me as I really enjoyed the style of the game and my little Apple headed runner guy. Unfortunately there isn’t a free version of the game to check out at this time, but if you dig runners you can pick this one up for $0.99 on Google Play.
