If you’ve seen any of the other countless talking animal apps in the market you’ll know what Pocket Stalin is all about. You simply ask a question and shake your device then an animated version of Stalin will give you his wisdom. It’s basically a souped up version of the good ol’ Magic 8-ball that uses a dead dictator instead of a magic pool ball. You can set your Pocket Stalin to question mode if you want to ask it something or you can just put it on wisdom to hear random bits of communist wisdom. In either mode you just need to shake Stalin to get a response, and if you don’t shake him he’ll let you know.
Verdict
Pocket Stalin is one of those apps that’s great for a quick laugh, and who doesn’t like to have a dead dictator in their pocket from time to time. The Stalin voice is pretty hilarious and his words of wisdom and random responses will definitely make you laugh. The “angry if interrupted” setting was fun as well; as you might guess Stalin does not like to be interrupted when he’s talking. Kristanix Games did a great job with Pocket Stalin and you can check it out for free in the Android market.
