Let’s Create! Pottery – Android App Review

Overview
Game studio Infinite Dreams has made Pottery fun with their game, Let’s create! Pottery. The game lets you make your own creations and decorate them with a variety of tools. It takes you through all the steps of creating your masterpiece from designing your piece and firing it, to applying your decorative glazes. If that wasn’t enough, you also receive assignments and can sell you pottery on the auction block.
Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty simple. You start with a potter’s wheel and a lump of clay. As the wheel turns, you use your finger to manipulate the clay. The clay can be dragged up or down for height, or in and out to give it shape. You’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly, but when you start getting assignments, its getstougher. Once you’re done with the modeling faze, it’s time to fire it in the kiln, t
hen on to the paint/glaze. If the customer doesn’t want the piece, you can sell it on the auction block for some quick cash.
Features
Let’s create pottery has plenty of features to keep you busy for awhile. You’ll earn money by doing custom orders for clients, or through selling your pieces at auction. You can use that money to buy different types of clay, colors, patterns and ornaments for your pottery. The assignments get progressively harder, with some requiring you
to purchase patterns to complete the piece. It was also cool to make different pieces and see what they will sell for at the auction. Once you piece is done, you can share it via facebook, email, or community before you sell it. The graphics are great, and the physics work well.
Verdict
As great as this game is, I do have one complaint. There should be a feature to save your pottery into a collection. You can share it, but you can’t save it. That being said, it’s still a very addictive and different type of Android game. Unfortunately, there isn’t a free version of this game, and at $4.78 it’s a little pricey. If you want a game that’s different and fun to play, you might want to check this one out.
