PowerAMP Android App Review: Best Music Player for Android

Here’s something that will really blow you away with its sleek user interface. The Android app is called PowerAMP and it’s one of the best if not the best music player for Android that I have used so far. Topping this app’s great features are easy-to-navigate and beautiful interface and built-in dynamic equalizers. So, here we go with our PowerAMP Android app review.
PowerAMP Android App – Features
If you’re looking for one of the most feature-rich Android music player, PowerAMP will not fail you. PowerAMP definitely has many great features both major and minor that will make you fall in love with it. PowerAMP Android app supports mp3, m4a, mp4, flac, ogg, wav, tta, wma, ape, and wv music file types. It also has the standard music player features such as album artwork, control buttons, shuffle and repeat music files.
As mentioned, PowerAMP features a built-in graphic equalizer. This equalizer works for all supported music file formats, as well as custom presets, and per-song/per-output preset assignment. Using this equalizer you can adjust Bass and Treble settings as well as controls for volume and preset settings. You can also quickly reset all these settings back to default.
Another nice feature of PowerAMP is the ability to add 4 widgets to your Android phone’s homescreen. Even better, you can also add widgets to your phone’s lockscreen including album arts.
PowerAMP is available now from the Android Market as a free download for the trial version. To have full functionality, you must download the Full version PowerAMP Unlocker which will set you back for $4.99. I know it’s quite pricey for a music player, but hey the price is definitely worth all the great features of this music player app for Android.

This might be okay if it’s the only music player you have installed but if you have more that one PowerAmp wants to take over your phone. It did have some nice features and if it played well with others I might not have uninstalled it.
Currently I am pretty happy with Songbird Beta
I’ve had many issues with this player too. And the sound quality is not good.
I now use PlayerPro which has a much better interface than any other players. And the new audio effects in the last release just makes it uncomparable now: equalizer, stereo widening effect, reverb effects, bass boost. What else do you need if you are a music lover ??
