Quick Review: Coconut Grove’s Finger Balance
Finger Balance is one of those games that’s so simple, but so very difficult. Each level requires you to move a ball that’s balanced on a rod to the exit by moving a rod with your fingers. The ball rolls as you move the rod, and each level is full of hazards which means you’ll have to tilt the ends of the rods to keep the ball stable while pushing it upwards. You can touch the sides of the level with the ball, but if you touch the shape you’re trying to navigate around its game over.
Finger Balance offers gamers 3 different game modes, local and online scoring, and instant replay so you can check out your best balancing feats. The game has 98 levels, but you’re only going to get around 30 to start out. Extra level packs can be purchased in the store using ‘cocos’ which can be earned through completing offers or bought outright. The prices are cheap and the offers pay well so no complaints there.
Finger Balance is a great quick play game that’s got some depth with its 98 levels and 3 modes of play. The gameplay is top-notch and the graphics have a nice retro vibe. Finger Balance is a game that’s going to frustrate the hell out of you, and you’re just going to keep going back for more. If you’re ready to put your dexterity to the test you can head on over to Google Play and pick up Coconut Grove’s Finger Balance for free.
