Review of Yoga Trainer Droid App
The best feature of Yoga Trainer is the courses. You simply choose a ten minute course, such as the Sun Salutation Series, and the app will present you with a series of poses. Each pose is has a timer that counts down how long you should hold the pose, so there’s no need for a stopwatch or guesswork.
If you don’t like the courses, you can make your own with the alternatives option. You can take the yoga poses and order them into a custom workout with just a few clicks of the touch screen.
The resources area of the app keeps you up-to-date on the latest yoga news and yoga ebooks that may be of interest to you.
The only downside to this app is that there are a limited number of poses that are focused towards advanced yoga users. The overall selection of poses is also very limiting. The courses don’t have video instruction, just pictures and the names of the pose, so if you haven’t studied introductory poses and techniques, you may be lost.
However, if you have some experience, but aren’t into advanced poses just yet, and want to be able to yoga anywhere your phone can travel, then this is the app for you.
