Techno Kitten Adventure – Android Game Review
I’ve always had a warped sense of humor, and get a kick out of things like Tosh.0, the “Pancake Kid” from Cabin Fever, and occasional Uwe Boll movie. It’s only natural that I keep a look out for the odd games and apps out there, and I recently found one that made me and all my friends say… WTF?? That game is called Techno Kitten Adventure from 21st Street Games, and if you were a fan of Robot Unicorn Attack you’re really going to dig this game…
I think the games market description says it better than I ever could so I’m going with that. You’ll navigate a kitten by jetpack, fueled by hopes and dreams through a fantastical world of techno music. That really sums it up pretty well lol. You control the Kitteh by pressing/holding the screen to go up and letting off to go down; no other controls are used or really needed, it’s about as simple as you can get. You‘ll want to dodge any shapes you see while keeping the Kitteh between the star borders at the top and bottom. It may sound very simple, but it’s not as you quickly see when the game starts up. You can turn the sound effects and music in the Opshunz section or change Kats, but that’s about it for options. You get to play the Dream Pack lite, but can buy the full Dream Pack via an in-app purchase for $0.99. The Dream pack gives you two more Kittehs as well with the Butterfly & Dream Kittehs.
This is hands down the trippiest Android game I’ve played, and I really freaked out the first time I played it as I thought I was supposed to avoid everything… not just the shapes. To say this game has a lot going on in the background would be an understatement to say the least. I did have fun with the game, and am very curious to see what the Cloud & Lava packs have in store. If you like Raves, Kittehs, Narwols or Rainbows you’ll definitely love Techno Kitten Adventure.
