Rumor: RadioShack Expected To Offer A $100 Discount On Select Verizon Smartphones

Tomorrow marks the day when RadioShack drops T-Mobile has a partner and begins selling Verizon Wireless products and services. In order to commemorate the launching of Verizon in RadioShack retail stores, RadioShack will offer a unique promotion starting tomorrow and ending a month later on October 15th.

The promotion is outlined in the image you see above, and it announces that select Verizon Wireless smartphones — such as the Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Droid Incredible 2, and Samsung Droid Charge — will receive $100 off their normal two year contract price.

In addition, interested customers can take $50 off the list price of the Apple iPhone 4. This looks like a great way to get potential (or current) Verizon Wireless customers inside RadioShack stores. We’ll be on the lookout for the official RadioShack announcement later today or tomorrow.
