Samsung And Google Jointly Postpone Galaxy Nexus And Ice Cream Sandwich Introduction
We have some bad news for Android and smartphone enthusiasts as Samsung and Google decided to postpone the event taking place on October 11th indefinitely. The news of a postponement comes just two days after Steve Jobs’ death had been announced. Initially, Samsung and Google did not reveal the true cause for delay, but a spokesperson followed up later saying that it isn’t the right time to announce a new product on the heels of Jobs’ passing.
The initial statement is:
Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced.
Therefore, we will keep you updated on when Samsung and Google announces the new date for the event in which the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Android Ice Cream Sandwich are to be announced to the public.
