Samsung Expected To Introduce Revamped Galaxy S II With LTE At IFA 2011

IFA 2011 starts September 1st and lasts for a few days, and during that time Samsung is expected to introduce a newer version of the Galaxy S II.  The upgraded version features LTE and 4G connectivity among a larger screen at 4.5 inches, and a dual core 1.5GHz processor.  Otherwise, it contains the same set of feature such as the 8MP rear facing camera, flash, front facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and Android 2.3.

Since Verizon Wireless took a pass on the Galaxy S II, some are expecting Verizon to introduce a similarly spec’d smartphone (to the revamped Galaxy S II) to launch in October running Android Ice Cream Sandwich with 4G LTE access.

About the Author

Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period. In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
