Samsung Expected to Unveil 8.9 inch Galaxy Tab at CTIA
Late last year, Samsung introduced the first high quality Android tablet, the seven inch Android 2.2 tablet for use on all four major American carriers. At MWC 2011 earlier this month, Samsung introduced the successor to the original Galaxy Tab, aptly named the Galaxy Tab 10.1, which features a 10.1 inch screen as its defining feature. However, Samsung doesn’t plan on stopping there, as an invitation for an event is circulating the Internet claiming Samsung will introduce another tablet on March 22 in Florida.
During the CTIA conference, the new tablet is expected to feature an 8.9 inch screen, which provides users with a middle-of-the-road solution of 7 inches is too small and 10.1 inches is too large. While Samsung has been relatively mum on details surrounding the new Galaxy Tab, we’ll keep our eyes and ears open for any possible rumors or leaks.
