Samsung Galaxy Nexus Rumored To Launch After November 17
At a European Samsung event in which the Galaxy Note was revealed, Samsung also took some time to formally introduce the Galaxy Nexus and provide some more details about the launch schedule. Unfortunately, it looks like European nations will have the first crack at the Galaxy Nexus on November 17th and will be available to the United States and other countries soon after that. Essentially, it is likely the first Ice Cream Sandwich Android smartphone will not be available until several days or even a week or two after the European launch.
As of now, Verizon Wireless is strongly expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but whether Verizon has an exclusive on it indefinitely or if other carriers will simultaneously launch the Galaxy Nexus remains to be seen.
