Samsung Galaxy S III Rumored Specs Leak, Boasts 2GB of RAM, 1.8GHz Dual-Core Processor

Even though the Samsung Galaxy S II recently launched here in the United States, Samsung is already well into the design stages of the successor — likely the Galaxy S III. According to a leaked image of a slide from an internal Samsung presentation, the Galaxy S III is going to be more powerful and thinner than the current model.
To begin, the Samsung Galaxy S III is rumored to feature a 4.6 Super AMOLED Plus HD touch screen display, 2GB of RAM, 1.8 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, Android Ice Cream Sandwich, 12MP rear facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and NFC. Interestingly, it looks like Samsung will not be adopting quad-core processor technology for this particular model, but recent reports indicate we should expect quad-core processors to appear in tablets in the near future.
In terms of a tentative release date, the Samsung Galaxy S III will not be launching until sometime in 2012, and probably closer to the summer of 2012. Again, this is in rumor stage as the only piece of confirming evidence is a leaked slide.
