According to a leaked internal Verizon Wireless doc, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE support is going to be available on July 28th. Earlier this month, Verizon opened up pre-orders for the Android tablet, but never officially announced the availability date. Even now, we still don’t have exact confirmation from Verizon on the launch date for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but the leaked doc does provide some strong evidence for a launch in five days.
The 16GB model will cost you $529 on a two year contract, while the 32GB model will cost $629 on a two year agreement. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be the first 4G LTE tablet on Verizon Wireless, as we still have no idea when Motorola will launch the Xoom with 4G LTE support.
At this point, I expect Verizon to announce the launch date early next week if the July 28th date turns out to be true.
Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period.
In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
