Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Commercial Highlights Features, Attacks iPad 2

With the powerful Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 about to launch in Best Buy retail stores all across America, Samsung is gearing up for the intense marketing campaign that accompanies any successful product launch. The main competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the iPad 2, and without directly portraying the iPad 2 in the commercial, you can bet Samsung took a few jabs at it.

Overall, the 1 minute and 55 second video clip below shows many key features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 such as its HD screen, portability, gaming capabilities, and ease of use. However, the first part of the video exemplifies its ability to run Flash, and if you look at the image above, you will see the Galaxy Tab 10.1 being compared to a tablet that cannot run Flash, presumably the iPad 2. Since Apple’s iPad holds much of the tablet market share, it’s no surprise that Samsung and other Android tablet manufacturers choose to attack the fact that the iPad does not run Flash.

I thought the video was well done as it showed many new customers constantly buying the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 after a new feature was shown off. The success on the Tab will ultimately depend on how well they can advertise it and how well the public receives the device.

About the Author

Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period. In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
