Take Over the World with 10tons King Oddball for Android
I’ve been a fan of 10Tons games since the underrated Joining Hands, and this week they’re introducing the world to the quirky new Android game King Oddball. I know I use the word ‘quirky’ a lot, but how many games actually let you play as a Boulder King?
King Oddball is game about conquering the world, and you’ll accomplish this by tossing boulders with your tongue. Yup, you read that right. King Oddball is a very odd king indeed as he’s basically a huge floating boulder with a crown and a tongue that would make Gene Simmons envious. Each stage starts with an angry King Oddball floating in the sky with a boulder attached to his tongue, and all you need to do is tap the screen at the appropriate time to release the rock and send it hurdling towards your enemies. If you like levels King Oddball has you covered with 120 of them; there are also achievements and the Hall of Diamonds feature works well to extend the gameplay.
King Oddball is one of those games that’s easy to play, but very hard to put down. The gameplay is about as simple as you can get, and the quirky graphical style of the game is really a joy to behold.
