Trillian for Android Open Beta Available Now
About a month ago, Trillian announced it was working on an Android app for its popular multi-client IM service. As of now, the Trillian for Android app is currently available in the Android Market as an Open Beta app. For an unspecificied amount of time the app will be available for the general public to test out then I am assuming it will expire and require a certain fee for the paid app. The Trillian for Android app works on devices running Android OS 1.6 or higher, which is good news for people sporting devices running the outdated OS.
With the Trillian app, you can connect to your AIM, GTalk, Mobile Me, Facebook, MyspaceIM, Yahoo, and IRC accounts. It has support for Tabbed Chat meaning you can switch between chats with ease. In addition, it allows for landscape mode meaning devices with slider keyboards will find this method of chat useful and convenient. Share pictures quickly through Trillian by uploading images through chat, and you can even “buzz your friends” to demand attention.
