Twitter Android App updated, now works with Kindle Fire, Nook and ICS devices
The Twitter Android app has just been updated with new features that aim to improve the mobile app some more. Most in-demand new feature of the app is perhaps the swipe shotcut which lets you swipe a tweet in your home timeline to reply to, retweet, favorite or share tweets as well as view Twitter user’s profile without leaving your timeline. Another major new feature of the is “find friends” which lets you find out quickly which of your friends are on Twitter if they opted to be discoverable by email or phone number.
Additionally, the update also improved scrolling and network performance, improved support for devices running Ice Cream Sandwich, improvement on security, additional language and the usual rounds of bug fixes to make the app perform better.
Finally, for Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet and Nook Color users, you’ll be glad to know that you can now download Twitter Android app on your devices via the respective app stores of those devices.
