Verizon Reportedly Giving $50 Off A Tablet With A Smartphone Purchase

In order to compensate for what will likely be a lackluster August for Big Red, the largest carrier in America is expected to roll out a new promotion involving smartphones and tablets.  If you purchase a smartphone on a two year contract, you are eligible to receive $50 off any tablet excluding the original iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi model.  The promotion is said to begin today, August 1st, and last all the way through August ending on the 31st.

Hopefully there will be more promotions and deals similar to this one in the store for us throughout August, since it is highly unlikely we will see the much anticipated Droid Bionic this month.
