Will Sony Ericsson Launch the Xperia Arc in April?

One of the more exciting smartphones announced at CES 2011 was the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc with its 4.2 inch touch screen, 8MP camera, and Android 2.3. Like many of the other smartphones also announced, information about pricing and availability was very vague and limited to Q1 of 2011. Based on an image from the Indonesian Sony Ericsson website, there is a good chance the smartphone will launch in April in at least Indonesia, and possibly other markets. The caption on the image, in a translation, states “3 more months” implying the launch in April.
Of course, only time will tell whether the Indonesian version of the Sony Ericsson tells the truth, but for now, it’s all we have to go on.
