Will The Motorola Droid 2 Global Launch November 11?
The Motorola Droid 2 Global is a phone that has been heavily leaked and rumored before even being officially announced by Verizon Wireless. Unfortunately, at this point in time, exact pricing and availability is still up in the air but there is a good chance the Droid 2 Global will launch on November 11, especially if this image received by Engadget is to be believed.
The image essentially states the Motorola Droid 2 Global in blue will be available for purchase on November 11. The 1.2GHz beast with a dual chipset of GSM and CDMA will probably cost $199 or more, but that has yet to be announced. Unfortunately, the image only mentions the blue Droid 2 Global, as opposed to the white version, which begs the question of whether the two versions will launch simultaneously. Only time will tell.
