Everyone loves a good casual game, but sometimes you just want to annihilate things. If you’re in a violent state of mind Bulkypix’s Soldier vs Aliens might be just the thing for you as it’s a shootem’ up that’s all about killing boatloads of Aliens.
There are a lot of learning games on Google Play, but Fude Samurai is the first one we’ve seen that can teach you Japanese. While it won’t have you speaking Japanese in a few days or weeks, you can learn to write Kanji’s which are used in the modern Japanese writing system.
The Samsung Galaxy SIII is a great phone, and the Note series isn’t too shabby either. The recent Galaxy S3 security flaw has definitely irked some Samsung owners, but now it looks like there’s a bit of a fix thanks to Lookout Security’s Android App.
The rumor mill is working overtime as we’re now only a few days away from the announcement of the Galaxy S IV. The Samsung Galaxy S IV Video leak is the latest rumor to hit the web and if it’s true you may be getting a glimpse of the final design of the Galaxy S IV.
So many games, so little time. This week’s edition of the Top New Android Games of the Week is full of great games and it was quite the task to trim it down to only 10. There’s definitely a little something for everyone this week with games including dog loving sharks, pixely warriors, and two buff brothers with a love of guns. Without further ado, we proudly present our picks for the best of the bunch from last week…
Yumby Smash is a popular new Android game from the folks at PlayGearz, and it’s one of the trippiest physics flingers you’re likely to find on Google Play. It’s also a game that leans a little too hard on an energy based setup. Can Yumby Smash get over the freemium hump or is it just another mindless Angry Birds clone? Read our Yumby Smash Review to find out…
It’s Sunday and we’re back with our picks for the Top New Android Apps from the past week. Last week was probably the slowest week for “good” new apps that we’ve seen in quite some time, but we still managed to find 7 new apps that we hope you’ll enjoy.
You’ve seen the commercials and now you can play the game. If you watch TV there’s no doubt you’ve seen Samsung’s Unicorn Apocalypse commercials, and while most of us assumed the game they talk about in the spot was fake, turns out it isn’t. Yes, we now have a Unicorn Apocalypse game…
There was more than one great endless runner released this week as Hotssauce’s Catcha Catcha Aliens crept onto Google Play. It’s an interesting take on the whole running thing as you play the role of an alien catcher catcha whose job is cleaning up planets that have been overrun by pesky aliens.
Game the News is certainly one of the more interesting developers out there as they fashion games out of real world events. Their previous games have touched on issues like Global Warming, Uzbekistan cotton pickers, and Syria. Cow Crusher is their latest game, and it’s all about cattle and horses…
Last year we heard that Kerosene Games was bringing Bladeslinger to Android and we’re happy to report that time has finally come. Luma Arcade’s Sci-Fi Western has just hit Google Play and it’s a game that you’ll definitely want to check out.
Nano Panda was one of the first games I ever covered, and Unit9 has been a bit quiet on the Android front since then. Astro Shark HD is set to change that though as it’s an intergalactic story of love & friendship that spans space and time.
One of my absolute favorite games of the past few years has been the overlooked gem known as Pollushot. My only gripe about the game was that it was way too short, but that issue was rectified when Dumb and Fat Games released the sequel dubbed Sling It!
