The Sandbox is coming to Android courtesy of Pixowl
One of the more requested games we’ve seen is a title called The Sandbox. Well hold on to your hats as it looks like we’re finally going to get The Sandbox for Android courtesy of Pixowl. Oh yeah…
I'm a writer, artist and jack of all trades, currently living in the United States. I've always enjoyed gadgets, and made the switch to Android a little over a year ago. I currently write about pop culture, movies, and all things Android.

That didn’t take long. A few days ago we told you about The Simpson Tapped out going live in some regions, and tonight it looks like it’s officially out in the US and other parts of the world. Ready to build your own Springfield?
We’ve covered a few of Phosphor Games Android titles in the past, and a few days ago I noticed an interesting Kickstarter of theirs called Project Awakened. While Project Awakened is only a PC based concept at the moment, it’s one of the more interesting and ambitious gaming concepts we’ve seen in quite some time.
It’s always refreshing to see something new on Android and Shapes & Sound: The Shape Shooter is just that. It may have an awkward name, but the game is awesome and it’s one of the coolest minimalistic shooters you’re likely to play.
Last week we talked about Bulkypix’s Goblins Rush, and this week we’re going to take a look at their upcoming game Redneck Revenge. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this one ahead of its February 14th release date and have been happily blasting away at zombies for a few days now. Is it as good as it looks? Read on to find out…
The original Tron was a great flick, and it introduced us to the awesomeness known as the Light Cycle. Many Android games have tried to mimic the famous Light Cycle races, but LightSpeeder from Rude Boy Games is the first one I’ve played that actually pulls it off and makes it fun.
Simpsons fans rejoice as it seems that we are finally getting a taste of The Simpsons Tapped Out for Android. On January 25th Electronic Arts Nederland BV released the game onto Google Play, but only to certain regions of the world. While this does leave a lot of people out in the cold, it looks it won’t be long before everyone gets in on some Simpsons action.
Knock off games or poor ports have always been an issue on Google Play. Over time I assumed it would get better, but as someone who scours the play store and Appbrain daily I feel like I can honestly say it hasn’t improved much. What’s brought me to this earth shattering conclusion? A little game called Carrot Fantasy that pirates have flocked around over the past week.
It’s Monday which means it’s time for our list of the Top New Android Games of the week. There were some great releases in the last week of January, and it was a great way to close out the first month of 2013. Without further ado, we proudly present our picks for the Top New Android Games of the week…
If you’re a fan of Coin Dozer and Garfield today’s your lucky day. Web Prancer has just released Garfield Coins for Android so now you can doze coins with everyone’s favorite fat cat.
We’re back with our picks for the top new Android apps of the past week, and there were a lot of nice ones to choose from. After some deliberation we managed to narrow the list down to 10 that we think you’ll enjoy.
The Play store is filled with lengthy RPG’s and time sucking sims, but sometimes it’s nice to have some quick fun. Super Grid Run from Refresh Creations can certainly take care of that as it’s twitch-gaming at its finest.
Artificial intelligence, priceless paintings, and robotic knights. Those are just some of the things you’ll find in a new Android Game called Cypress Inheritance. It’s the first game of the Cypress Inheritance saga and it’s one of the slicker looking Android games we’ve seen in a while.
Like candy? Everyone does, and the little monster in Herocraft’s new Android game Catch The Candy definitely loves the sweet treats. He’s purple, he’s furry, and he’s very, very hungry…
Bulkypix has continually surprised me with what they’ve put out over the past year, and their newest release is a pleasant surprise by the name of Goblins Rush. No platform game or puzzler this time around as Goblins Rush is all about those evil green goblins.
Some men work hard to become a Legend, and then there’s The Chuck. The Chuck was weaned from a Honey Badger and his beard has kicked more ass than you ever will. The Chuck also doesn’t like nerds so he’s going to let watch him beat them down. We use the word “watch” because you’re pretty dense if you think The Chuck actually needs your help.
