A Review of Cross Court Tennis for Android

A Review of Cross Court Tennis for Android

I’ve been looking for a good Android Tennis game for a while now, and was excited when I stumbled across Cross Court Tennis in the Market. At first glance I thought it looked great, but was a little fearful about how it would actually play. I was pleasantly surprised, as Refined Games has put out a Tennis game that has great graphics and solid gameplay.

Quell – Android Game Review

Quell – Android Game Review

Like a good Puzzle game? If you do, then look no further than Quell from Fallen Tree Games. Quell is an awesome little puzzler that will keep you entertained with its Zen like atmosphere and it’s unique style. It’s also a game that’s simple to pick up and play, but very difficult to put down…

NFL Rivals – Android Game Review

NFL Rivals – Android Game Review

As this weekend kicked off the NFL season, I thought it was just the perfect time to do a football review. NFL Rivals is the newest Football game from Natural Motion games, and it’s also their best to date. Their Backbreaker series of Football games have always been popular, but NFL Rivals takes it up a notch as it allows you to use all 32 NFL teams. The gameplays basically the same, but the addition of the new NFL Points system lets you directly represent your team and support them throughout the season. Is it as good as it sounds? Read on to find out…

Kairosoft’s Pocket League Story Out Now for Android

Kairosoft’s Pocket League Story Out Now for Android

Kariosoft has finally released the English version of Pocket League Story and I, for one, am excited. The mysterious game makers known as Kariosoft have become well known for their popular line of “Story” games. If you’ve ever played Game Dev Story or Grand Prix Story (sorry Hot Springs) you know their games are highly addictive, and like some sort of gaming-crack. Fans have been foaming at the mouth for an English version of Pocket League since July, and now the wait is over.

Flickitty – Android Game Review

Flickitty – Android Game Review

Flickitty is a funky looking, swipe-based physics game from developer Randall Schleufer. Your goal is to fling your kitty around (by the head) and help him complete his missions spanning 5 slick looking regions. As lovely as the levels are they do contain a lot of hazards, and you’ll have to keep Flickitty from being electrocuted, poisoned, and burned to a crisp among other things. The games graphics are truly outstanding, but is the gameplay just as good? Read on to find out…

Muffin Knight – Android Game Review

Muffin Knight – Android Game Review

Are you a fan of Knights and Wizards? How about Muffins…do you like those? Well, if you answer is yes to either one of those questions (or both), we have just the game for you called Muffin Knight. Muffin Knight is a cool new game from developer Angry Mob Games, maker of the popular Guerrilla Bob. In Muffin Knight you’ll need to grab the Magic Muffins when they appear while doing battle against dragons, turtles, bats, goblins and pigs just to name a few.

A Review of Sprinkle for Android

A Review of Sprinkle for Android

Sprinkle is an awesome new water physics game from developers Mediocre. The aliens from Titan are in trouble, and you’ll need to help them save their homes from fiery asteroids. You’re in charge of a funky little water cannon, and will have to use your wits to combat the flames and save the Martians homes.

A Review of Jelly Wars for Android

A Review of Jelly Wars for Android

Jelly Wars is a new game in the vein of Worms from developer Star Arcade. It’s a cross-platform game as well that will let you play online against your friends on Android, iPhone, and Symbian devices. Instead of playing a worm, you’ll take the form of a blob of Jelly that fires… blobs of Jelly at an online opponent. Jelly Wars is still in its early stages, but it’s already quite a bit of fun.

Drawdle – Android Game Review

Drawdle – Android Game Review

Drawdle is an awesome, new physics-based drawing game from One Side Software. You might be thinking, “It’s just another Doodle drawing game”, but you’d be wrong as Drawdle does things a bit differently. There are spikes to avoid, rubber bands to use, paint balloons, and 40 different doodley levels to play through. It also has a catchy name that reminds me of a Pokémon character. Sounds fun so far doesn’t it? Well, it is fun and I’m betting you’ll enjoy Drawdle as much as we have over here at Android-Apps…

Silo MAD – Android Game Review

Silo MAD – Android Game Review

Silo MAD is a killer little RTS game from Plasmaworks that puts you right in the middle of a Nuclear War. You’ll have to acquire land, defend it and launch your own attacks on the enemy… and you won’t necessarily be doing things in that order. Some levels will start hammering you right of the bat, while others permit you to build up your defenses a bit. This was one of the first games I played when I got an Android, and it’s good to see it’s still as frustratingly fun now as it was then.

A Review of Pit Crew Combine for Android

A Review of Pit Crew Combine for Android

If you’re a fan of racing, you’re not doubt familiar with the Pit Crew. These are the guys that take care of the cars during the races when they pull in for a Pit Stop. Redline Sports Marketing dropped a new game over the weekend that will let you be part of that process in Pit Crew Combine. It’s a game racing fans and non-fans alike can enjoy. I know this firsthand as I’ve never watched a Nascar race, but I’ve had a blast trying to beat the times set on Pit Crew Combine.
