Red Bull BC One – Android Game Review

If you wanna go retro, nothing screams 80s like break dancing. I remember trying to spin on my head as a kid, and failing miserably. Occasionally, you’ll still see some drunken foot trying to do the worm at a party or wedding, but for the most part “breakin” has gone the way of the dinosaur. Well, thanks to a new game called Red Bull BC One, you can do a little dancing on your phone. It’s done with a new breed of breakers, so you won’t see the Boogaloo Shrimp in this one… even though it would have been awesome. Robotek came out last week, and somehow it flew under my radar. I started noticing blurbs about the game over the weekend and thought I might need to take a look into it. A Review of Wisp for Android

Wisp is a new puzzle/adventure game from Triolith Entertainment. You’ll play a forest Wisp named Eira who’s lost in the dangerous woods, and trying to find her way back home. It’s a definitely a unique game, and it has a style all its own. The soundtrack got my attention pretty quickly it fits the game to a tee; they really did a nice job with the music. Jenga – Android Game Review

I’m sure most of you have played or at least heard of a little game called Jenga. Well thanks to Natural Motion Games, you can now play this classic game on your favorite Android device. They even consulted with the original creator of Jenga Leslie Scott, and it shows as the game is pretty awesome. It plays just like the real game, and can definitely be just as frustrating. I had a blast playing it, and it’s one game that I’ll definitely keep playing for awhile.

TNA Wrestling iMPACT! for Android – The Review

I’m going to start this one off a bit different this week instead of going straight into the review. As a fan of 80s & early 90s WWF wrestling, it was a sad weekend as the great Randy “Macho Man” Savage passed away. I grew up watching wrestlers like the Macho Man, Junkyard Dawg, and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, so I was pretty bummed when I heard we lost the Macho Man over the weekend. As sad as the news was, it brightened my day up a little when I noticed a new Wrestling title for Android. Apparatus – Android Game Review

If you like building games, there is a new Android game called Apparatus that you’re going to love. Apparatus is a new game from Bithack that lets you build those funky Rube Goldberg type machines. You’ll use these machines to try and move your marbles into the goal, so you can advance to the next level. Apparatus also has three different modes of play, which is a big plus. It’s in Open Beta now, and if this is the beta… I can’t wait to see the finished version.

Contract Killer – Android Game Review

Glu Mobile has put out some killer games over the years, and in their newest game you actually get to play a killer. Contract Killer puts you in the role of a Hitman for hire, and you’ll have to take out your targets in a variety of locations. Whether you’re taking out a mob boss, or just a regular street thug, there is plenty for you to do in this game. It’s very easy to pick up and play, the graphics are great, and well…you get to play a Hitman! Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? Smash some Atoms with Nano Panda for Android

Who doesn’t love a Panda? They’re cute, they love bamboo, and they’re great at destroying Evil Atoms when they run amok. Nano Panda is a cute physics game from UNIT9.Apps that lets you launch Pandas towards the Evil Atoms who have infiltrated the science lab. WebMD for Android – The Review

If your one of those folks who like to diagnose themselves, then you’re going to be happy that WebMD is now available for Android. This is the epitome of Medical Apps, and nothing else on the market even comes close. It’s like having a doctor in your pocket, minus the wait & the bill. I really can’t say enough about this app; it’s easy to navigate, full of information, and it looks great as well. Blast Monkeys – Android Game Review

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past year, it’s that people love to fling animals at things. Since Angry dropped, there have been quite a few (less than great) games with a similar theme. Blast Monkeys brings something different to the table with a hungry monkey named Moki that really loves bananas. Developer Yobonja released this game last week, and somehow it slipped under my radar. In a short time, it’s already received a 4.5 star rating with over 2,000 reviews and well over 50,000 downloads. Is it truly as great as people are making it out to be? Yup, it’s simple to play, and a whole lot of fun.

Climb Up the Food Chain with Grow for Android

There’s a new fish game in the market by the name of Grow from Epic Pixel. Sure, there are a lot of “fish eat fish” games in the market, but this one does things a bit differently. You start out as a tiny egg, and you’ll need to eat your smaller brethren in order to survive. You will be able to eat the bigger fish as you grow, and you can get some power-ups to help you out as well. Don’t let the cute looks fool you either, it get’s pretty challenging as the levels progress.

Zoom Through the Galaxy with Space Bunnies for Android

Space Bunnies is a fun new casual Android Game from ShockPanda games. Your job will be to help these poor space bunnies find their way to Homeworld, and pick up a few of their friends along the way. It is definitely a unique game, with great graphics and plenty of levels. It reminded me of pinball in a way as you go bouncing across the galaxy, but it’s really unlike any other game I have played. Gameloft strikes again, this time it’s a new action-adventure game called Shadow Guardian. They have dropped three gorgeous looking games in the past week, and all truly look awesome. I was excited about Starforce Collision and right when I got into it, I noticed a game called Shadow Guardian. In Shadow Guardian, you play investigative journalist/ex-soldier Jason Call. Your mission is to keep a group of mercenaries from finding an ancient and powerful relic. There is a lot to do, and you are going to fun doing it.

Set Sail with Age Of Wind 2 for Android

I’ve always been a sucker for pirate games, so when I stumbled across Age of Wind 2 in the market I got excited.
