5 New Android Games you Should be Playing… Zombie Edition

by On July 3, 2012

Zombie games are just like the undead… they just keep coming. You can’t stop them or really even slow them down as developers just keep pumping them into the market. Not that I’m complaining as we’ve gotten a lot of great ones already this year, and I’m a Zombie fan just like a lot of our readers. With that in mind here’s our 3rd Top Zombie game list this year, so sit back, relax, and get ready to take on the undead hordes with our list of 5 New Zombie Games you should be playing…

1. Dead Trigger

This one’s due out today, and it looks to be awesome. It’s also the only time I’ve given an unreleased game the Top spot on our list. Dead Trigger is from Madfinger games the team that brought us Shadowgun so it’s pretty safe to say it’s going to be a whole mess of awesomeness. We’ll have a release article up as soon as this bad boy drops, until then you’ll just have to salivate over the screenshot below..

2. Plight of the Zombies

Tired of killing zombies? If so Plight of the Zombies is just the game for you as you’ll actually help those ugly little creatures this time around. You’ll have to guide the Zombies to their meal (humans) while avoiding obstacles and bullets to the brain. It’s a great puzzler, and one I highly recommend as it’s different and a whole lotta’ fun. You can check out Spark Plug Games Plight of the Zombies for free on Google Play.

3. Bomb The Zombies

Bomb the Zombies is a new Android game from the folks at Net Mobile AG that lets you take out zombies with well placed grenades and other destructive tools. You’ll have to topple buildings with the zombies inside to move on, and you’ll want to aim carefully as your ammo is limited. Bomb The Zombies is a great physics-based zombie killing game and you can check it out for free.

4. Zombie Ace

Zombie Ace is an awesome Zombie game from Hothead games and it’s the only Zombie game I’ve played that lets you fly. You are a Zombie Pilot that’s headed out to infect the United States, but it won’t be easy as you’ll have to battle jets, choppers, lightning storms and the occasional killer robot. There are plenty of missions, and it’s a game that will keep you busy for awhile. You can check out Zombie Ace on Google Play for free.

5. The Clones of Corpus

Outline Games gave us a solid Zombie game with the Last Stand, now they’re back with another called The Clones of Corpus. You take on the role of the sole survivor of a disastrous experiment, and you’ll have to take back the city while fighting your way through 18 unique survival challenges. There are a lot of weapons and tools for use on the undead, and you get to kill them all for the low, low price of free!
