Can’t wait until Verizon officially rolls out Froyo for the Motorola Droid X? Well, the good guys over at MyDroidWorld have uncovered the leaked Android 2.2 for the Droid X, which should be pretty close — if not identical — to what Verizon will roll out in the coming weeks. The leaked update is not a ROM or port, meaning both rooted and non-rooted devices can take advantage of Froyo. It is also said to include Flash 10.1, something that wasn’t included in the original Droid’s upgrade to flash. Remember, updating your phone using the method outlined in DroidXForums may result in a bricked phone, so proceed with caution and knowledge of the consequences.
