Angry Birds Rio No Longer an Amazon AppStore Exclusive, on the Android Market Now

by On March 31, 2011

A few days after Angry Birds Rio came out as an Amazon AppStore exclusive, Rovio decided to release the new game on the Android Market just now. Yes! Fellow Angry Birds fans, you can grab the app now for free from the Android Market. Angry Birds Rio for Android gives you two episodes containing 60 exciting levels, new achievements, hidden fruits, boss fight and of course more game levels in future updates and possibly in-app purchases now that the billing method is available now for the Android Market. Angry Birds Rio was created in collaboration with 20th Century Fox and was somehow based on the Rio film. ¬†I downloaded the Android game on my Nexus One a few hours ago and was totally impressed by how good it looks on the screen. Our fellow writer Adam Field got the Angry Birds Rio from the Amazon AppStore and said it was worth the download. So, if you’re an Angry Birds, there’s really no reason why you won’t this game. Incidentally the game is available free from the Android Market. If you haven’t got into the Angry Birds frenzy, now is the right time to do so.
