Today, at CES 2011, AT&T announced several powerful Android smartphones, and possibly the most notable is the Motorola ATRIX 4G. The ATRIX 4G is likely the rumored Motorola Olympus, simply under a different name. While many of the phones announced today have not received a price tag or availability date, the prospect of such high-end smartphones coming soon is particularly enticing. The Motorola ATRIX 4G features 1GB of RAM, NVIDIA Tegra Dual-Core processor, 4 inch QHD touch screen display, compatibility with AT&T’s HSPA+ network, up to 48GB of storage space, 5MP rear facing camera, VGA front facing camera, Android 2.2, 10.9mm thick, and a 1,930 mAh battery. Needless to say, the ATRIX 4G by Motorola is one of the best powerhouse Android smartphones currently available, if not the best. In addition, Motorola has equipped the ATRIX with the Motorola Laptop dock, which gives a more laptop-esque experience to the ATRIX. Hopefully we will hear word of pricing and availability in the next several days, because I, for one, cannot wait to see this device in action.
