Behind the Cube: Day 2 with 22cans Curiosity

by On November 7, 2012

By now the whole world knows that 22cans Curiosity has arrived, and we thought it would be fun to take a look and see what kind of progress is being made on the cube. After yesterday’s less than stellar Android debut we are happy to say that most of the kinks seem to work out and Curiosity truly under way. Sometime last night or early today the first layer of the cube was wiped cleared, and now folks are tapping like madmen at the second layer. The second layer is red underneath, and I noticed a new random message scrolling through today in the form of Did Lucy say ‘yes’? We have no earthly idea what this means, but I didn’t notice it yesterday when I was tapping away like crazy. As mentioned, all the things that didn’t work yesterday are working today so you can now connect to the server with ease and buy tools to help you chip away a bit quicker. The diamond chisel is present, and it can be yours for only 3 billion coins. I amassed a wad of coins in a relatively short time before blowing them on firecrackers; I can’t image somebody getting 3 billion, but I promise you someone will have that diamond chisel. I’m thrilled to see that everything is working properly now, but I still can’t decide how I really feel about the game yet. Curiosity is still a mystery wrapped up inside of a cube, and I’m guessing it’s going to be a while before we find out what’s inside. If anything ‘major’ happens we’ll let you know, and be sure to check back this weekend for a full review on curious game that is 22cans Curiosity.
