It’s been a while since I checked in on 22cans Curiosity, and now that Christmas has passed we thought it would be a good time to look back in on the Cube. According to the stats its day 51 on the Cube, and 127 layers have been removed thus far which means we’re chipping away a little over 2 layers per day. I’ve periodically been checking in on 22cans Curiosity and while I’ve not noticed anything insanely interesting it is cool to see those little beams of light shoot up where people are setting of bombs or badgers on the cube… at least I think that’s what they’re from. The in-app purchases are still present which is a good thing and a bad thing all in one. The ability to use bombs or draw does add an extra layer of fun to Curiosity, but asking us to purchase stats sucks to be quite honest. You can get “simple stats” for free, but if you want detailed stats like the ones I had in my last Curiosity article it’ll cost you a buck. While I wasn’t on 22cans Curiosity during Christmas, it doesn’t appear that much has changed outside of the game shedding dozens of layers. There do seem to be more advertisements for “Godus” their new Kickstarter backed game, but other than that the game has become pretty blasé for this gamer. We will still check in on the cube occasionally; hopefully 22cans has some surprises up their sleeves to pique my Curiosity again.
