If you’re anxiously awaiting the launch of the highly anticipated Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 tablet, we have some good news in terms of pricing and availability courtesy of a couple of Best Buy leaks. Based on the leaked circular ad you see above, the Motorola Xoom will retail for $799 off contract. Even if you want to use the tablet exclusively as a WiFi device, Verizon Wireless is requiring you sign a one month contract for data and then you may cancel it. Therefore, you will have to pay $20 for one month to unlock WiFi on the Xoom. Granted this seems like an annoyance, but Verizon is hoping you decide to stick with the data plan rather than cancel it after one month. Droid-Life is also reporting Best Buy will allow pre-orders for the Xoom to begin on February 17, while the Xoom will officially become available on February 24. All this information should be announced in the Best Buy circular expected to come out on February 20, so you will not see it in the circulars tomorrow, unfortunately. While we haven’t had explicit confirmation from Verizon Wireless or Best Buy on these claims, they still seem legitimate and provide a very good indication of what’s to come.
