Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies out now for Android

by On

I always love it when a game sneaks up on me, and that just happened as Glu Mobile has just released Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies for Android. Yup, you read that right… Call of Duty, Zombies, and Android! The mobile version of COD: BOZ as it’s called is build specifically for tablets and smartphones and brings some fan favorite maps to the table with Ascension, Call of the Dead, and Kino Der Toten among others. You’ll also get to take on “Dead-Ops Arcade” which is a 50 level zombie kill em’ all that really puts your Zombie killing skills to the test. You can play by your lonesome or join a team of up to 4 players via Wi-Fi for some Zombie killing fun. The game also uses the IAP setup but calls it CoD Points and there are a whopping six tiers of in-app purchases for you to curse at enjoy. I won’t get started on that yet, as I can’t play the game but $6.99 plus a slew of in-app stuff “seems” like a bit much to me. Now for the bad news… Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies is an Xperia Play exclusive so the majority of us won’t be able to play this one for a full 30 days until the exclusivity tag is dropped.

As excited as I got to see that Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies had dropped, the excitement quickly faded when I found out it’s just another game that I can’t play for 30 days even though I’ve got a grand worth of devices in front of me including a quad-core tablet. Either way, if you’ve got an Xperia Play device there’s no doubt your excited about this one, and you should be as it looks like it’s going to be a sick game. If you’re lucky enough to be able to play this bad boy you can head on over to Google Play an and pick up COD: BOZ for $6.99.
