Ghost Recon Network is a new Android app from Ubisoft Entertainment, the team behind the upcoming console game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Ghost Recon Network lets you get a nice preview of the new games arsenal as you’ll get to check out and create your own unique weapons in 3D. Ghost Recon Network won’t let you check out the entire games weapons (yet), but it will allow you to get a look at the ACR, M118, MP7, M590A1, and the Goblin. All the weapons are precisely modeled down to their inner parts, and you can mix & match to find the best combination or range, firepower, control, and maneuverability. You only get 5 guns for now, but they are five bad ass weapons and are very cool to play with. You can get an “exploded” view of things by simply tapping a button, and changing out parts is just as easy through double tapping. This version is pretty limited, but future updates will include the entire arsenal of weapons, weapon sync to your console, access to your multiplayer stats, leaderboards, and a whole lot more. In other words this looks to be an awesome app and a must have if you plan on picking up Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
Ghost Recon is a neat little app, and even though it’s limited it’s still cool to do some weapon modding. The graphics look great, and the developers say that the full finished version will have over “20 million unique weapons to create”. Those are their words… not mine so don’t shoot the messenger if it’s more like 200 or 2,000. We’ll take a closer look at the app when the game is released; if you want to check it out for yourself you can pick up Ghost Recon Network for free on Google Play.
