Asteroids. They float around in space and are generally considered a nuisance — especially if they’re headed towards earth. Video games involving asteroids usually present them as planet killers, and Giggly Mill’s Asteroid Impacts follows that trend with one important twist. You get to destroy plants, instead of trying to save them.Taking out a planet is never an easy thing unless your name is Galacticus, and even then it can be difficult and time consuming. Asteroid Impacts lets you harness the power of an Asteroid using your finger, and it’s just as much fun as it sounds. It can also be difficult as you have to fling your space rocks at a planets core to wipe it out — you’ve also got a limited number of shots, and some items are indestructible. By the numbers, Asteroid Impacts offers up 42 levels of fun and gives you a few types of asteroids to fling around along with different zones and planets. I had never heard of Giggly Mill before playing Asteroid Impacts, but I’ll certainly keep tabs on them from here on out. The game isn’t going to blow you away with cutting-edge graphics, but it will keep you busy tossing asteroids about for quite a while. If you’re looking for something a little different, Asteroid Impacts is well worth a look and you can pick it up for free on Google Play.
