Dolphin Browser 7.0 Released with Dolphin Connect Cloud Synching

by On October 19, 2011

One of Android’s best alternative web browser, Dolphin browser has just been updated to version 7.0 bringing in a new cloud experience via the new Dolphin Connect feature. Dolphin Connect will allow you to sync your browsing preferences, bookmarks, and gestures across all your Android tablets and smartphones. It’s a pretty neat feature and works well while I was trying it on my Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi 5.0. Additionally, the updated Dolphin Browser Android app also made some good enhancements to the app’s main feature, Webzine. Webzine now showcases the Dolphin browser’s 16 most popular webzine as selected by its community of users. By making it available on the Dolphin browser’s home screen, you’ll have quick access to on-demand content. The webzine interface was also given a much-needed facelift that will allow easier navigation, smoother interface and the ability to swap between webzine, mobile or desktop mode. The new version of Dolphin Browser is currently available as an exclusive download from GetJar.com. If you’re not usually getting your Android apps from the said site, you can wait up until October 23 when the app becomes available from the Android Market. Alternatively, you can grab the app by scanning the QR code below.
