Evernote Android App Gets More Advanced Features

Who’s using Evernote on their Android phone here? If you use Evernote Android app for managing your tasks, to-dos and mobile notebooks, you’d be glad to know that the ever useful Android productivity app has just been updated with more advanced features including advanced search. The updated version of Evernote now has advanced search capability for constructing complex searches using tags, notebooks, attributes, location and dates. These complex searches go straight into your search history so that you can re-use them later on without needing to construct them again. To use Evernote Android app’s advanced search feature, simply go to the app’s Search screen from the application home screen, widget or header bar and then tap on “Advanced Search” and then select from a wide range of search criteria. Aside form advanced search, the Evernote Android app now also lets you check and uncheck items right from your to-do lists right on your Android phones. You just need to view a note with to-do items and then tap on the check box to have these items synced with the Evernote server. This allows you to find notes with incomplete to-dos. The updated Evernote Android app also now makes it easier to manage your notebook sync preferences as well as see the size of your notebooks. Your Android phone also now sync faster through a cell network. Other new features include – simple text-only view of your note list and improved sync status bar to make it easier to tell what synchronization is doing.
