Secret Exit wowed us with Zen Bound 2, and now they’re back with a brand new Android game called Eyelord. The games couldn’t be any more different, but they do share one important trait in common. They’re both a whole lot of fun… Eyelord is a similar to Zuma as you’ll need to match and remove balls as they roll down the path towards a giant hungry head. In this case, the head looks like Eddie, Iron Maiden’s famous mascot and you’re using eyeballs instead of marbles. You need to match 3 eyeballs to remove them from the line, and if the eyeballs reach the Metal Monsters mouth, it’s game over. There’s more to Eyelord than simply popping eyeballs at random. The game has a nice chain & combo system to go along with the Overload meter. There’s also a leveling system of sorts that allows you to buy gear like Heart Burn boosts and extra characters. Everything can be had with coins earned during gameplay, but you can buy some coins outright if you want to get ahead in the game. Eyelord also utilizes Google Play Game Services so you can compete against your friends via G+. I really wasn’t sure what to think about Eyelord at first, but it didn’t take long for a 15-minute test run to turn into an hour of eyeball popping madness. Secret Exit did a great job with the game from top to bottom including a balanced shop setup. It’s a free game, that doesn’t throw IAP’s in your face which is something we need more of. If you’re in the mood to rock out and squish some eyeballs, you can pick up Secret Exit’s Eyelord for free on Google Play.
