If you download and try a lot of Android apps it can be difficult to dig through your phone to find your favorites. That’s where My Top Apps comes into play as it finds the Android apps you use the most and lets you choose them with ease. My Top Apps lets you view your top apps in one of three different ways, through a grid view, details view or timeline. Each of the views is sortable through different algorithms; the free version lets you sort most recently used and last recently used while the pro version adds sorting by longest use duration. The app has a few other settings you can tinker with options to clear your history, ignore apps, and change the number of columns displayed. Far and away my favorite feature of My Top Apps would have to be the widgets. The Widget comes in 2 different sizes and allows you to quickly find your top apps right from your homescreen. As you can see from the screenshot it’s a nice looking widget and is extremely handy to have if you’re constantly going back and forth between applications.
Muzikant did a great job with My Top Apps, and it’s an app that can really save you some time if you use a lot of different applications. The free version of the app gives you everything we’ve covered while the full version ads 3 larger widget sizes (for tablets), an additional algorithm, and a 24 hour timeline vs the 4 hour one in the free version. You can pick up the free and paid versions of My Top Apps in the Android Market.
