by On

Well, that certainly was a fast update. Mozilla has just released the latest beta version of Firefox Mobile Android app one month after the first version was released. This is actually a good thing. Very vintage of the Mozilla folks who are continously enhancing their browser products.  Major issues that were addressed by the new beta version include reduce memory usage, improved text rendering and 60% reduction in install size. Once you get this new Firefox beta version up and running on your Android phones, you’d immediately notice the refurbed theme of the browser giving it a fresh new look. It also makes it easier to share links with your friends right from the site menu. You can now also easily undo closing of tabs. Of course, performance and speed were also given updates of their own. Hence, Firefox for Android app now runs faster including pan and zoom browsing, reduced page load times and 25% speed enhancement on Android 2.2. Mozilla also promises more improvements in future releases, specifically when scrolling and zooming as well as enabling of HTML5.
